OBD1 GSR distributor problem
I was changing out my cap, rotor, and spark plugs. OEM Honda of course.
I went to crank it and the engine wouldnt start.
Loud squealing then a popping noise...like from the cylinder misfiring.
1. Firing sequence is fine.
2. Connections on dist good.
3. Looked at starter..no missing teeth.
Any other ideas to check? Is this signs of a bad dist?

Double check to see that the spark plugs are in the right order. Looking at the dist, it should be like this

It just sounds like the wires are misplaced
