IAT Sensor question
I have a 97 civic with an obd2a to obd1 conversion harness. I am going to have it tuned with Neptune and a po5 ecu. I have an Edelbroke IM with an obd1 IAT sensor already mounted. My question is how should I wire the IAT sensor? Which wires go to which prongs? And should I get a pigtail harness for it?

Re: IAT Sensor question (sohcT)
Well, i would try and find the sensors hookup from a factory harness. Then look in a shop manual, even the cheapy ones work. Look up the ecu diagram and see what two pinouts use the iat sensor and wire it up directly. Now, i do know that when i had a short on one of those wires my ecu was telling me that i had a bad o2 sensor.... so i believe they may be intertwined.
If you don't mind, what did you do to run the po5 computer? or have you not yet, i tried a jumper harness, but i'm assuming you need to run an obd1 throttle body and what not, cuz my car wouldn't run for crap.

It runs fine with the obd1 ecu and conversion harness. But I have the obd2 IAT sensor just hanging in the engine bay.

Re: IAT Sensor question (sohcT)
okay i see what you want now. I looked in my books, wiriing diagrams and from what i'm seeing. The obd1 is a red/yellow and a green/white wire. The red yellow goes to the computer, and the green/white goes to a junction connection.
obdII red/yellow, and green/black. Same thing, red/yellow to the computer, and green/black to junction connection. So, if the plugs are the same, plug it in, otherwise you'll have to do some soildering.
