I am running a chipped P28 and am wondering do I need to wire up VTEC like an OBD1 car and if so where do I find ECU pins for VTEC?

Im guessing you have a obd0-obd1 converter there.. One of the pins should say its a vtec wire..

You just run that wire into the engine compartment and hook it to the vtec noid.. I think you also have to run a wire to the vtec pressure switch or something, I use a AEM EMS so I didnt have to worry about that one..

you dont need to use the p28 ecu. you can use an obo-0 ecu and redo the board. i have a friend who just did that with his 88 crx he dropped a fully built d16z6 into.

I know that.. I was running a chipped obd0 pm6 for a while.. He said that he had a chipped p28 and was wondering about vtec.. If he wanted to use the vtec for an obd0 the best way would be to use a pr3 or pw0 obd0 one..
