Default obd 2b to obd 1 conversion problem

I converted my 2000 gsr (obd2b) with a obd1 and the car made an unusual sound. Sounded like the valves were moving faster than normal. Please help!!

check the clearances of the valves, it wouldn't hurt to do a valve job

The valve clearance is fine but i did however find out that my A/c compressor is running funny. The A/c seems to be leaking or ON all the time through the vents. The lines are cold as ice and it made a weird noise with smoke one time. Last but not least, the idle is pretty weird. Sometimes it's normal then the next it will stall....I tried to adjust the idle by removing the IAC plug and adjusting the idle but when i pulled the IAC plug, the car stalled.....do i have a bad IAC? Is their something that i should have done but didn't when converting?
