my boy got a b16a2 off a 00'si on his hatch and we want to change it from obd2 to obd1?want what are the benifits of this?

-No CEL associated with running a test pipe
-Easy and cheap to 'rechip' and run a better program
-Many choices for different programs to run
-No gay codes associated with running too rich/lean
-No gay cylinder misfire codes

I helped drop a 96 B18C1 engine into a 94 GS-R (already had OBD-1 harness and ECU). All we had to do was use the 94 distributor and swap the injector plugs on the 94 wiring harness.
