O2 sensors???
I have a JDM b16a1 in a 89 cx hb (EF). Ever since I put the motor in the ecu (PR3) has been reading 1 blink (oxygen content). The car was running fine so I havn't bothered with it until now. I switched the O2 sensors last week, still getting the code. So, I re-wired both sensors directly to the ecu, and yes they are going to the correct pins (c16 and c08) and I'm still getting the code. Any help? What else might cause the code????
I just checked my sensors using a multimeter set at the 200mV seeting both sensors give a reading of 40, rev it the reading goes up a little but that is it, no rapid alternation or anything. So, they are poop right???
Is there any honda mechanics in here? This is driving me nuts, I switched my O2 sensors again thinking the used ones I put in two days ago were shot, and I still get a Code 1. I checked the voltage coming out of the sensors using the wire to the ECU as the ground and voltage is way low .1 at 3000 rpm. So I was like WTF, thinking these sensors were **** too, then I grounded the sensor to the block and they were putting out the exact voltage they should (.4 at around 3000-4000 rpm). SO here is the question (its a fun one) are the grounds for O2 sensors in the ECU screwed, which pins if any are the grounds......?????
AND YES the sensors are going to the correct pins.
I have also checked the grounds to the thermo housing and it can't be fuel pressure because the code comes up right when car is started after I clear the ECU.
HELP ME.

i am a honda mechanic - so are you by the sounds of it
the grounds are the exhaust manifold.
try pulling your main fuse and disconnecting the battery to clear the code.
(i have a PR3 and need to do this to clear some codes)
HTH,

I do that everytime I play with the car, and the second I hook the ground back up and fire the car up again the code reappears right away. I know the Sensors ground to the manifold, but what I mean is the signal they send to the ECU, is there a ground for that or no.
Cause like I said the sensors when grounded to the block are fine(.4 V @4000 rpm), but when I hook them up to the wire going to the ECU they are not putting out good voltage (.09 V @ 4000 rpm)? I replaced the wiring both sensors too, and wired them right to the ECU.
I'm not an electrician but if the wire is too think (12 gauge) is the resistance too high maybe, but I though it was the other way around. Thick wire low resistance.
