i have a race comming up this weekend and my honda o2 wont get in till next week so i found a ford o2 laying around the shop.... but i am a little confused on the wiring of the ford o2 it is a 4 wire o2 but it has a 2 white wires,a black wire,grey wire i was wondering which would go with each wire on the honda i know the yellow/blk wire is the heater but there is also a orange/blk stripe that turns into a solid black wire on the o2 side,,, a red/white wire that on the o2 side is a solid white,,,, and a blue/green that turns into a solid green on the o2 side...... sorry if it is a little confusing i was just in a hurry any help would be much appreciated........

 

ok if that was confusing cause after reading it myself it was kinda confusing my ford o2 sensor has 4 wires 2 white a grey and a black all solid....... well the colors on the honda wiring on the ecu side then on the o2 side as i can remember i just need help matchin them up.....ecu=yellow/blk stripe-o2 side=heater wire......ecu=orange/blk stripe-o2 side=solid black wire.......ecu=white/red stripe-o2 side=solid white..........ecu=blue/grn stripe-o2 side=solid green...... the last one i know its a sending wire but that damn ford is confusing is **** can somebody help me find which wires go to which from ford to honda and help would be appreciated thanks

Ok I'm still confused after reading that several times...

What colors are on the ford o2?

2 white
1 grey
1 black

correct?

If that is the case:

White goes to Yel/Blk to A25 (Power Source)
White goes to Org/Blk to A6 (Heater Control)
Grey goes to WHT to D14 (O2 pinout)
Blk goes to Grn/Wht wire to D22 (sensor ground)

u r correct about the ford ones......im not sure where you r getting the green and white wire on the honda from.......... i am using the wires to the ecu they r yellow/blk i get that one, the orange/ blk i get that one to but then you say a white wire and green/white however my two other wires i have are a red/wht stripe and a blue/green stripe wires left................ does it matter which white goes where?

Nope, white wires do not matter. As long as one is the Yel/Blk and the other goes to A6 (heater control).

ok so what that is saying though is that the green wire should go to gray and white is supposed to go to black? ok ill try both ways cause poision said it was the other way around..... thanks if one doesnt work will it mess up the o2 sensor if i have them in the wrong place to start?
