Default o2 sensor placement ?'s...

Im running a custom Side exit downpipe that is routed out my front bumper. I have the bung for the o2 sensor about 8-9 inches from the exhaust housing on the turbo. It is an obd1 car, will it be too hot for the sensor?

I've seen many setups with the o2 sensor immediately after the turbo (including factory setups) and expensive L1H1 sensors (wideband), so I would say it's doubful you'd have any problems. I've never had to change my o2 sensor on my gsx which is in a housing immediately after the turbo (oem placement).
