Default O2 Sensor Check Engine Code

Just put in a new p28 and noticed i get a check engine light at times. The code flashes once quickly then long pause. O2 Sensor right?
Well, i have already installed the RyWire 1-4 wire O2 harness. What could be wrong?

The CEL thread for Civic's (which is your car I assume) says that it's your O2 sensor. You just messed with it so make sure It's ok. Remember to do a search before posting.

ok, you just repeated what i said.... I know its the O2 but the sensor is new and I have to 1 wire - 4 wire conversion harness. It didn't give me this with my converted p06.
Why is it shooting this code?
