Nylon Fuel line in AN fitting help?
Im doing an inline fuel filter and im using black braided nylon hoses. Im having a very HARD time getting the hosed in the AN fitting. I've try greasing it and using alot of elbow grease, but still no luck. Has anyone done this befor that can give me some advice?????
With the nylon braided lines I cut them with very sharp scissors or sharp knife. Then I trimmed the excess fraying off. After that i took a lighter and melted the ends, just like you did with the old nylon belts thats were one size fit all or like shoe laces. This worked perfect. I also don't see any reason why this would have any downsides because this edge isnt key in the sealing. And this is the way they are cut in a factory with a heated blade that would seal the ends as they're cut.
