Default notched block needed for eagle rods in H22?

Does the h22 block need to be notched for eagle rods? Also, I read in a search that eagle rods have a big end sized like a #3 honda rod. Is this the same for H22? Going to order bearings... Thanks

Not if you get the correct size.

There is more than 1 size of rod? I just ordered eagle rods for a H22A.

Then you will be fine. If you get larger than stock rods then you will have an issue.
