NOS STREET PERFORMANCE SCAM
I didnt know where to post this so I am posting it here. I went to a shop in nj called N.O.S street performance in linden NJ. They performed a motor swap and turbo kit. I bought a gsr and they performed headstuds on it. First of all it took them 8 weeks to do a motor swap 8 weeks shady huh? Anyways one of the workers took my teg out and boosted it when it wasnt tuned yet and he called me to tell me that the rings got fried. They are saying I owe them 550 still for the swap plus they arent paying for the motor which is 1850. SO i bring them a running car which they drive around to get parts and take other customers for a ride what kind of shop is this. I am 2400 screwed now and get back a blown gsr ? Are they responsible for the 1850 for the gsr they blew up or am I? please help
they are responsible for everything until they sign off the car back to you, take them to small claims court and sue and take all the reciepts and photos and whatever u need
well if its worth ur time and u feel that its right, for me it would cuz id sue for all my mone back, i took the time to research and got legal advice and reported them to like the better business bureau or like the state or sumthing.
usually small claims court costs no more than $300 and you can claim the price of the engine, anything you paid them, your personal time, legal costs and your mental anguish and all that bull (you can sue for anything you want) however whatever the judge awards you with is what you get. If you really want your money back get as much paper work from this shop, gether before photos, after photos, note on your phone bill (i assume you have a celly) when they called, and even get as many witnesses you can to back you up on the facts. it may be involved but if you build yourself a solid case of their screw up you will get your money back and then some
