ok so i just sold my 1990 integra with a b18b1 motor in it for $2500 and i went to my local towyard and bought a 1993 civic 4door for $400(best deal in the world) well the motor was shot so i went to attarco and bought a motor with 30k on it for $500. still came out on top only spending $900 so far. now of course i live in california so i had to get it smog and evap tested and it passed plus registration and insurence. so now ive only spent $1100.
i have about $1300 left and i want to do a motor swap. i can get a complete 1995 gsr swap with 100k for $900. now i have $400 left if i were to get it. what i need help with is do i buy intake, header and cat-back with this $400 or do i put noew bearings and rings int the motor since it has 100k on it?
and also, would ctr cams be good in the gsr motor?

First you shouldnt have bought another stock engine if u were gonna swap it. Second i would buy the gsr swap. 100K isnt much i wouldnt bother opening it up unless it burns oil profusely. And where are u gonna find an intake, header and catback for $400 really? other than cheap ebay shiet which loses you horsepower. I would run a drilled air box and a nice stainless catback sans fart can, perhaps an apexi ws. Stock honda engines like running honda parts and backpressure
