im hearing stories of combining high lift cams and nos would destroy your motor. anyone shine your knowledge onthis issue?

 

big time nitrous will blow a motor. Nitrous plus cams (whatever they may be) means virtually nothing. The only "tricks" to nitrous are proper ignition timing and fuel delivery. And of course making sure each cylinder gets an even amount of the stuff.
