i am looking into doing a mini me swap on my 92 dx. i already bought a d15 distributer and i was wondering if there was a way to use it with the vtec head and everthing still work right?

help me out. thanks.

 

that non vtec distributor should would with the vtec head (for example how people use LS distributors on B16 heads by jusdt cutting off a leg

 

when you say cut one leg off do you mean one of the legs that bolt the distributer to the head?

92-95 d16z6 and d15z1 heads have the "VTEC" dizzy bolt pattern.

88-95 d-series, 92-95 d15b7 and d15b8, and all of 96-00 share the same dizzy bolt pattern.

All d-series dizzys are the same except anything 92-95 with a VTEC solenoid
