Ok well i read almost everything on h-t about vtec not crossing over, first ill list the set up and conditions of the car:
-odb1 95 rs
-gsr chasis and engine harness (the plugs to the ecu were cut so i had to splice new ones to adapt the ecu from a gsr also)
-skunk2 stage 3 cams left at stock position (no retard or adavance)
thats basically the set-up.
Now the problem is this, CEL codes 21/22 vtec pressure and solenoid, the head wasnt taken apart during the valvespring and retainer install, so im sure that the oil pressure "e" shaft on the rockers werent takin off, however i was missing the center dowel pin and i installed that. but still no vtec, the cel light comes on after i accelerate hard and try to cross vtec over, other then that it will not flash cel, i check oil all the time, i think i have about 5 qts in there now, as in temperature the car is below the "c" when the car is driving but up in temp. when i sit at a stop light.
I also switched the selonoid with a working one, still no vtec, im really bugged out, the car cant cross over, should've built an ls but i really would appreciate any inputs, some say it might be electrical but i think its mechanical. I also switched out the stock gsr manifold for a skunk one due to the fact that i think my secondaries wont cross over! HEELLPPP me thanks!

 

ok nevermind i foud out the problem, its mechanical, the f*in rocker arms are out of place and there was no rocker oil orifice in place. Attempting to get it fixed with jdm_jon, good guy, bad *** mechanic

 

Ok last night got it done and took it for a ride, went into 2nd gear and the car got sideways
im in a good mood now that this ish works. peace!
