Default no vtec, no code, wiring correct, has oil.....

90 accord with h22. P28 ecu
vtec wired correctly... 100% sure on it.

No vtec. only code is "code 3". Im replacing Map sensor asap.

What would make vtec not work? where do I start? havent seen this before unless wires are unplugged.

Its got oil. I even checked with another H22 dip stick to make sure.

Could the map sensor being bad make this happen? The map got bumped and now it wont work. I have a brand new one on the way.

If the VTEC solenoid is bad will it ALWAYS throw codes 22 or 21, or can it fail and not throw a code? Anyone hear of this?

I read in a old thread from 2004 that some was having a code 22 and another members advice was maybe a blocked oil passageway??
