Default No vacum

I have a Jg intake manifold on a ls head and crower cams that have 243 / 246 duration, under 1000rpm there is no vacum and it is really hard to get the car to idle w/out over fueling it. Would this be a leak or a combination of the cams and cam timing.
Thank you

What are the cams set to?

Are there any vacuum leaks anywhere?

The cams are set to 0 and I tried everything I could think of to find vacum leaks and didn't find a thing

I just looked at it again and it does make it up to about 5in at 1000rpm w/the throttle closed.

you could try reducing overlap by advancing the exhaust and retard the intake

no vacuum, make sure you have no leaks anywhere. doesn't sound good if you don't have any leaks.

I made sure again today there was no leeks I will try the cam timing tomorow. Is there a chance it could be the valves, they are jg stainless.

did you do a valve job when you installed the valves? the valves could not be seating properly.

I did do a valve job when I got the valvles but something could have gone wrong. Would a comp check show any problems.

do a leak down test. that should definitely tell you whats up. you can also lap the valves to see what kind of a seat you're getting.
