No v-taack obd0
Ok so I'm checking out this b16 crx that has no vtec. All wiring seems legit. Getting codes #6-temp sensor, #7tps, #9iac and #10 tdc position sensor. Changed temp sensor and distributor, no luck. All codes still remain. The ecu being used is a pr3. Also changed t-stat since it was stuck open. All grounds appear good. Any ideas?
The code 6 will not allow vtec to engage, since the ecu will monitor engine coolant temp and not allow vtec to engage until it's warmed up. There are 2 temp sensors in the head. Have you changed both and tested the wiring?
The code 7 indicates a tps that is possibly in need of calibration, or replacement.
The code 10 may be due to incorrect wiring. What model is the car and who did the wiring if any?
BTW, code 9 is not for iac, it is for the TDC sensor inside the distributor. Was the replacement distributor a new one? Or, was it used?

Yeah sorry, I mixed up the code orientation. The car is an si and apparently there was a b16 in this car before. Current owner did all the work himself. The wiring isn't pretty but it appears ok(for vtec). The stock wiring looks ok aswell. The only temp sensor I haven't changed is the one on the t-stat. I was under the impression this one only operates fan turn on. I was also told that if you hammer on it and shut the car off and back on really quick while in vtec range it will engage untill hittng crapper. I had the same look on my face when he told me that one, but I did hear vtec engage as he flew past my house when doing this procedure. The plot gets thicker.
