No start/weak spark?
Ok this is a long sequence of events, please bare with me.
Car: 1993 Honda Civic CX
Motor: OBD1 B18c1
Ok first off, i was planning on swapping out my itr cams for some blox type b's that i bought along with some blox dual valves prings and adjustable cam gears.
So my mission began and I started pulling things apart. First the valve cover, i set the motor to TDC and loosened the timing belt tensioner and slipped the belt off the cam gears, then.. attempted to remove the cam gear bolts.
Placed a 5mm punch into the cam plate/guard and into the cam and proceeded to remove the cam gear bolt, the exhaust was easy, but the intake.. not so much. The punch snapped in the hole and i was without a way to remove the bolt. I removed the cam caps and distributor and then realized I had no way to remove the bolt even off the car so I gave into failure and started putting everything back together. I get it all together started it up and the idle seemed to be odd. Thinking the timing might be off I checked and everything is lined up perfect. Then I figured the distributor needed to be adjusted? Moved it an 1/8th of an inch and attempted to start the car and this time it just turns over and i'm getting nothing. I have fuel pressure but my spark seems to be very weak.(tested plug in wire against ground)
I don't know why i cant get it to run, i tried 2 different ecu's and same deal. Although i think the battery is dead now.
Sorry for the long, miss spelled run on sentences, i'm just in a fit of frustration.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
-Adam

A weak spark would indicate a problem with coil or ICM, or connections to them.
Start by checking the connections to them, undo and reconnect, making sure the connections are tight. 94

What would happen if the dizzy was 180 out, would it start and run like crap? Or not start at all? I don't think it is but im willing to try anything right now.
Any ideas?

did you try moving the distributor back where it was the first time? i don't think you can put the dizzy on 180 degrees out. if you can, no it wouldn't start. the holes in the cams aren't for holding. the best way to get the cam pulley bolts out are to leave the timing belt on, loosen them, and then take the belt off. did you make sure all harness plugs are plugged in? injector plugs on the correct injectors and plugged all the way in?

timing and don't say its right 99% of the time its not even though the op says it is, and if you couldn't figure out a way to get the stuck cam gear bolt off then how would you be able to do something harder like timing, also your not suppose to use a punch in the cam alignment hole to remove the bolt its for lining up the cam only

How could it be timing if, the car started and ran one second then wont the next.

thanks man.
Yeah, I am new to honda's. But i figured that out quickly.
I fixed the problem, I started over with the timing. It was off, somehow. Luckily there wasn't any valve/piston contact =]. Everything is fine now and it runs like a champ again.
Thanks for the help from those who did help, and those who were ********, remember not everyone has been under the hood of a honda for years.
