run the in and out lines on the rack in a loop.

That's not really true. Using a minimal amount of fluid as left over lubrication and plugging the input/outputs does not cause a serious issue. Done it on the FD, and done it on the EG. No issue.

One small exception I will add is that I did not use completely airtight NPT or 3/8" plugs, I capped them off.

also, make sure to remove all the fluid(that is still under pressure). i made sure to turn my steering wheel back and forth numerous times. if not, the steering will feel extremely tight.

Yep. That's why I say it's not too essential to loop the lines as there shouldn't be so much fluid in there that the loop is actually being used - but that's just my method.

does anyone happen to have a pic of this set up, because im kinda confused, on the rack there is 3 lines comming out of it, theres the one that goes to the pump on the block then theres 2 other ones that ran to the cooler on the front of the car, which ones get looped, and what do i do with the other line, just plug it?
