Green plug. You do not need to disconnect the VSS to fill the fluid. Some people prefer to fill in through the VSS hole though.

Yep. Or a pump that attaches to the fluid bottle.

filling via the vss hole is 100x easier
Its on top of the tranny, near the back.
Sticks straight up, about 3" tall with an electrical connector.
Remove one 10mm bolt, pull it straight up.
Pour in fluid

The green circle is the fill plug and it is easier to use than removing the vss, but you have to use a sucksion gun/pump. (good invesment if you plan on doing your own fliuds!)

I prefer the pump better. Only thing that sucks, is not every fluid bottle has the same size opening.

Id say your question has been answered but just in case don't tighten the bolt to the VSS to hard. I snapped the VSS mount when I fist put my back on

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I just wanted to make everyone aware that I use a beerbong to pour the fluid in. It works great, just feed a couple foot tube down in there and pour it in the funnel. I'm sure everyone on H-T has a funnel and a few feet of tubing lying around. Unfortunately, it ruins a perfectly good beer bong.

Re: Filling tranny fluid? (Cyphear)
You can also fill tranny through the vent cap. I have a hose that fits perfect so I use that.
Also it is important to open the fill plug so that when you are filling the tranny you know it is full when it starts to come out of the fill plug hole.
Just like an engine, too much fluid is not always good.
