no O2 sensor cause lumpy idle?

will not having a O2 sensor wired up to my 2000 B16 in my EG cause my motor to idle crappy? If not, what else could it be?

possibly. also check spark plugs for being fouled, dist cap/rotor as well

yea, and usu. rich as well with hella smoke outta the tail pipe..
