For an all weather tire, I would recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I had some on my Porsche and they were great, lots of grip in dry weather, lots of grip in wet weather.

Check out the Kuhmo 712's at tirerack.com. I recently purchased those and I live in Washington...they work great for all weather conditions.

They do work well, and are vastly less expensive than the Pilot Sport A/S.

I got Nitto 450s, and they really stink. Compared to Kumhos 712s, the Kumhos are better. I even hydroplanned in these one time. Luckily no accidents.

I would go with the 712's.

I can't say much about the 712, but I have a set of 450's. There a good tire. The only basis for comparison I have is to the stock del sol S tire of 175/75/13. I haven't had any trouble in rain with them and actually the performed quite well in the recent snow storm here in jersey. Good traction pulling hills and such in the snow/ice and that is with gsr power in my sol. The type-r lsd made a huge difference too.

Yeah tirerack titles them as summer tires for some reason...no clue why because they are rated to have excellent wet weather traction. Go with the 712's man!
