is it really true if you take a dry kit and get a fuel sylenoid and run 2 hoses to the intake it will be equivelant to a wet kit????

Basically yes, but you may want to run both the fuel solenoid and the existing nitrous solenoid to the same switch for the sake of simplicity. also make sure that the amount of fuel you'll be injecting is appropriate for the amount of nitrous you'll be injecting.

where can i find out the proper ammount of fuel at for a 55 shot??

just contact a nitrous company and they should be able to tell you anything you need to know

(techs are usually very helpful at most companies)

Well, you would use only one of the 2 solenoids with the dry and eliminate the vacuum part too. You would also need a single fogger jet, the one that has both fuel and NOS fittings.
