Default Nicotine patch?

Hi everyone, I have a 94 Honda Civic EX with the 1.6 liter V-TECH engine. My car smokes sometimes from the engine and from the tailpipe. I talked to my brother's friend who knows a lot about cars and he told me that I should try putting a nicotine patch on it to get it to stop smoking. I guess this is some old school trick that muscle car guys do??? Anyway, I stopped by Wal-Mart and picked up a box of patches, but does does anyone know where I'm supposed to put them?

I don't know a whole lot about cars and my brother's friend told me to ask you guys because he only works on performance V8 engines and doesn't want to screw anything up on my little V4 engine.

This made my day! It must just go over that honda badges on the front and back of the vehicle. If that doesn't work. Turn key to off position and drop keys in toilet.

If problem persists or worsens go see a physician.

Are you messing with me? I don't get it.

I don't have a lot of money to spend in this car and if it's something major like a piston gasket or what not, I don't want it to get worse. I'm looking for a temporary solution to get my engine to stop smoking for the time bean and will eventually get it fixed when I can afford it.

Lololol. One on each runner of the intake should do the job. Don't forget to top up blinker fluid and re-adjust muffler bearings accordingly.

THANK YOU for the serious response.

I'm sick of asking questions on this website because I always get stupid responses like from the other two. Where are the runners located at on my car? Do I just peel and stick these patches on?

As for the other stuff, do they have any effect on the smoking of my engine?

I found blinker fluid here:

Muffler bearings here:

They're kind of pricy though and I don't want to buy it right now if it's not going to make a difference on my car's smoking problem. I will eventually replace those items if you think they're necessary, but I'm just hoping to solve the smoking issue at this time.
