I am currently running NGK-R's in my B16A1 (stock besides a cat+ c/b exhaust), but I have heard that the regular NGK's would be better. Should I run the regular NGK's? If so, does anyone know where I can purchase them? I've tried a couple local shops and a Honda dealership with no success. Thanx.

 

Both NGK's own. But I would get Platinum's if you can. They are pretty expensive.

 

Just changed mine BKRE6-N11. Gapped to .040".

 

Can anyone tell me the part # for the best NGK to run on a mostly stock B16A1?

I am assuming it is the BKR6E-N11, which is a copper plug. Is this correct?

 

i ran plat. & bosch plat, they suck real bad. it seems like the 1stgen b16a hates platinum spark plugs. BKR6E-N11 is the right spark plug to get. honda & local auto stores don't carry them in my area, so i order them from http://www.monarchproductsinc.com. quick shipping for me, i placed order late sat. night, arrived monday morning. give them a try.

Well, Monarch just sent me Denso Iridium Racing plugs IA01-32#4. I don't even think they fit B16A1's. Anybody ran iridiums in a B16A1?
