Default Newer Honda Keyless entry question.

So, I've been fooling around with this for a while, sits in front of the computer for hours and hours to find out if anyone have done it.

I'm just trying to make a newer keyless entry system to work into my 93 EG hatch, I know its all about the wiring and sounds crazy either.

The reason why I'm trying to do this is because I want to have a 1 piece key and remote together like the one shows on the picture.

So I found out that the newer honda (06 and up accord and civic) got a keyless entry unit build in the Multiplex control unit it self, so its almost impossible to make it work, then I found out that 05-06 CRV got a separate keyless entry unit and with this unit I will able to use 1 piece remote and key.

I will be able to use 1 piece key and remote with this keyless entry system, I found the wiring diagram for 05-06 CRV keyless receiver unit, and its only got 4 wire from it, which is 1wire is hot all the time, 1 wire hot in run or start, 1 wire is grounded, while the last wire that is blue/orange in color goes into the Multiplex control unit as a data wire, any one got any idea what kind of data/signal that it produce? Is it power (+) or ground (-) or any other signal?

I wonder if I know what kind of signal that its produce, I can simply replace the multiplex control unit with relay, since in older Civic they never use Multiplex control unit.

I've seen it done, using a 05-06 CRV keyless entry receiver unit into 7th gen civic, since 7th gen civic got multiplex control unit as well.

So, what I'm really stuck in here is just what kind of signal that blue/orange wire produce on 05-06 CRV?

Or if anyone got any other idea?

Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Newer Honda Keyless entry question.

OEM alarm works with ecu, disabling the car completely.
theres no point of having this alarm over the orignal pre2000 alarm since it can be bypassed easily...
