Default New transmission problem, need help.

I own a 91 da9. With my last oil change-I changed my transmission oil along with a regular oil change about 3 months ago now and recently have this problem of putting the shifter in gear, it's very coarse at times, but at others, very smooth. Sometimes I can't get it into any gear at all, it just won't let me. I also had some work done to my clutch because the pedal damn near snapped off and was stuck to the floor... got that fixed and the clutch is a dream now but the shifter problem with the gears not wanting to engage is getting bad. I've had the car for ~6 months now and it was fine besides the clutch pedal being VERY hard to press but I loosened the cable and it's fine, feels brand new, this failure to engage in gear worries me though. Any thoughts on what it might be? Or what I should check?

I wonder if I had the transmission oil changed that it could have created a problem? Any one have a clue as to why all of a sudden my gears don't want to engage at random intervals while in the middle of driving. It doesn't happen when I begin to drive but after I've been driving around town for alittle bit.

Something must be loose or just not gripping because it almost takes my full strength to get it into gear sometimes!!??... I'm really worried about driving it now. It doesn't seem safe at all, this problem.

Clutch fully disengaging I'm not sure but I have a small small area of where it seems the clutch pedal doesn't do anything up top. I'd say about an inch if that of room where it feels like it doesn't engage anything, then it feels like something is happening.

Fluid, I don't know, I'd have to ask my friend to find out what kind it was, I'm gonna find out. Thanks very much, I definately think it's a fluid thing.

Topped off the fluid today. Fluid I still don't know what type it is but I also found out it might have a split bushing for the shifter, that might be the case as to why it's only doing it at random intervals since the bushing probably slips here and there.
