New project
Yo, wassup? Just might sell my 240sx to start a new project...
Being from the Nissan crowd, I don't know a buttload of technical Honda stuff, but I do know two things: power-to-weight, cheap and easy to work on. That's what brings me into the realm of Honda-Tech.com.
For my project, I'd like something that can run low 14's at least. High 13's would be nice. One catch: maximum limit of $2500. One thing that's always caught my attention was the potential of a CRX with either a B16 or B18. 160+hp mated to a 2000lb gocart? Nice... But I'm sure all of you already know this...... One more thing: has to have as little downtime as possible because I'd only have one car ('95 DeVille) while I work on this one.
The problem is, though, I don't have the know-how to do an engine swap, nor the proper equipment or place, so I'd have to get it done by a shop. But, I can install a turbo kit, just I don't know what car would be best.
So, can anyone help a fella out? If I sell my car tomorrow, I'll need to get something fast!

is $2500 including the car? i hope not... and turbo kit, do you have the parts and just need the manifold for a bseries or what? $500 for the 88-91 chassis, $2000 for a b16 swap... low 14's on street tires, mid to high 13's on slicks no problem. get a 89-91 HF crx if you can.
Not to be rude, but what's it matter if I have an SR? Is that all a 240sx is about? Just like when some people hear the word 'Honda' they think ricer, some hear the word '240sx' and they think SR...it's rediculous.
