new Guage cluster
ok, ive done some research, and finally decided to go to the salvage yard and pick up a guage cluster for my 89 NON TACHOMETER DX hb. im hoping it's as easy as everyone is saying, however my question is, is there anything i should be aware of, like a certain wire that shouldnt be touched or cut. im planning to go to the salvage yard and just take out the cluster (with tach), and cut the wires, so half of the origianl wire will be on.. this way ill just look for the similiar wire in my car and attach them to the new cluster... if anyone has a better way of doing this PLEASE let me know.. thanks

Get the harness with it, don't cut it, if you have the harness it should all be plug and play, that way all you have to do is unscrew and take out the old cluster and plug in the new cluster and screw it back in.
