this is why people started doing this

"The orifice (or valve) inside the Honda regulators is so small in diameter that it serves as a restriction to fuel returning to the tank, so no amount of adjustment will drop the pressure."</TD></TR></TABLE>

Oh yeah, who actually does that? And how many peole dick with their stock oil pumps? I don't give two ***** what Larry claims. If I ever met that guy in public, I'd spit in his face. But apparently you seem to enjoy swinging on his nuts, so go ahead and buy into his bullshit, I don't care.

I think I'll belive what I've seen on my last three cars - zero change in pressure.

Besides, maybe a few "builders" had pressure problems after a 255 install - that doesn't cancel out the 3 million "builders" that didn't notice a change in pressure.

ummm...where did you get oil pumps from there smart guy...we were talking about the fpr...lol

and i guess tech 43 doesnt know **** either cause he said this
to quote tech 43
"you need a fpr with a big return orifice (aem, aeromotive, sx, etc) the b&m (stock) cannot return enough fuel, and this is causing too much pressure at the rail. my opinion? buy a aem regulator.
hint for everyone else running naturally aspirated: stop buying 255 lph pumps, its way overkill. the 190lph will support more horsepower than you will ever, ever be able to make. "

let me help you here
"you need a fpr with a big return orifice "
"(stock) cannot return enough fuel, and this is causing too much pressure at the rail. "

so tech 43 must be a dumbass too...LOL...

I had to purchase a aem fpr to drop my static fuel pressure from 60psi+ down to about 38psi. My stock fpr would not control my fuel pressure once I installed my 255lph hp...Take it as you like, but that pump flows to much fuel for the stock regulator to control.

It's another brilliant DIY mod recommended on the Endyn website. Smart guy.

Maybe you should stop being a retard and figure out that there's a difference between the 255 and the 255hp. Stop mentioning the same stupid point about the FPR orifice. I know the pressure at the rail doesn't increase with the 255. Maybe it does with the 255hp, I don't know.

I don't know who that is, so I'm inclined to not care about his ideas.

Are you using an FMU or tuning software?

No I'm not "dad". And I assure you that I have more mechanical experience than you, so why don't you put your condescending attitude in check.

For anyone who's following this thread, now or in the future, I assure you that a standard 255lhp pump in conjunction with a stock FPR is a perfect combination.

I'd go out and take a picture of my pressure gauge to prove it, but I'm too lazy and frankly I don't care what you guys decide - if you want to blow your money on an aftermarket FPR, go for it. What do I care.

If you know so much, why do you keep quoting other people? I'd hope by now you would make your own statements and educated replys on the subject in hand.
