New engine sounds
got my new engine in. je pistons, eagle rods acl bearings. its been 1000 miles and everything is great. just one question. when i first crank the car it runs nice and smooth except the little bit of cold piston slap. but as the engine heats up slightly the main bearings start to rattle a smidge. nothing OMG MAJOR or anything but it does it for maybe 2 minutes during the warmup period then it goes away until the next cool down. the motor runs VERY smooth and its tuned. does oil weights affect this. would this be the bearings being on the tight side or on the loose side. i can remember for the life of me what the bearings spec'd out to but i know it was in spec with ease. ACL greens. B18A ls vtec. any thoughts. 5w30 maybe? im running 10w30 current.

Why do you say this? I dont know how you could tell if a main bearing was "ratteling", but if it is, then thats not good at all. I would guess your hearing normal valve noise.
If your bearings were loose enough that you could hear them "ratteling", the motor would not last 5 minutes.
