Yeah, what does that suppose to mean? It's like a pre-built head. So what?

3100 bucks is alot for a head alone........i guess for the serious racer/race team it might be worth it........
for 1000-1500 bucks you can have your stock head ported pretty damn good......

</TD></TR></TABLE> well it is, but its not a bare head, there are componenets and installation of those components is also included.
it sure is a ripoff IMHO... anyone can find an old B16 head ($100), send it to Portflow or any other head massager, who can port it ($900), drop in valvetrain of your choice ($100+$400) and work the valves ($300) and even offer cams to match the setup for easily much less $$$ complete, compared to a Dart head.

agreed
however I want one of their bare blocks for my turbo project.

I'd guess it's probably pretty clean, if you've ever taken a close look at the inside of your head, it looks as if it was machined with a butter knife.
i must be missing something obvious... i can't seem to find the headflow numbers, the exhaust to intake ratios, etc.
they did list the intake port volume in cc's, which is good, but how does that compare to a stock head? how do the headflow numbers stack up? how about the i.d. of the port at it's smallest point, as compared to a stock head?

Both these heads are real nice, but you can take a stock one and make it awesome for your application for alot less.

+ 1 over valves???? Guess none of the(bigger cammed like me) allmotor guys are going to be able to use these. I was told from someone this weekend that it only flows 280. But I can't prove that.
