ey wsup guys im new here and got a stock 00 accord auto! woo! all show no go

this guy i know at my school says he gots a WRX racing chip installed in his 93 civic! i say ok thats cool but then he tells me that the chip added 25hp to his engine.

i did some research on the web and the only chip i found was somthing called like an inichip and that added 30 hp for a "WRX" is he saying a buncha BS or wha?

Your friend is telling you a good story. Tell him thats nothing you got a Supra Twin Turbo X2000 chip in your Accord that gives at least 50 hp if not more.

Well first of all, our Honda's can not be chipped. They can be reprogrammed, but not chipped. The guy has an intelligence level of a 2month old retarded monkey on crack.

Total BS. Chips are usually only effective on boosted vehicles, they raise the boost cut, add more fuel, retard timing, etc.

Your friend is full of ****.

False. You are ADDING a socket and chip when reprogramming so technically
you can say that you are "chipping" the ecu.

unless your flashing a reprogrammable eprom and then your just reprogramming the chip...not replacing.

thanx guys i knew it was too good to be true and even if the so called chip did give extra hp 25 is wayy to much!

man im gonna freakin lay the smak down on his *** and if he did pay alot of money just to get bsed by a retailer then thats his fault.
