Default never go to sears for work

recently, i took my car into sears to have a camber kit put on my car (front only). I watched them the whole time from a distance and noticed the difficulty they had with completing the job. When they finished, the mechanic told me to wait out in front so he could test drive it. Well, 10 minutes later, and still no sign of my car, i decided to investigate. I found my car back on a lift with a new mechanic using electrical tape to fuse my abs wire together in the fenderwell.
he said it would alright. Yeah right! After yelling at the manager, i made a deal to get the damage fixed at honda and bring them the bill. they honored it.

Sneaky blokes

sorry for the long report. in the future, i will take it to a reputable shop that knows what the hell they're doing.

If every sears uses the same mechanics, your warning might be worthwhile.

Share the particular one you're talking about, and it might actually help someone.

yeah, any franchise/chain is only as good as the owner/manager of that individual location.

I try to stick to the independent guys. they have nothing to bring them business but word of mouth and their reputation.
