Default in need of the truth.....

was wondering if the JDM ZC headd would fit on a D series block, ive heard that it goes right on then i heard it doesnt. does anyone know for sure

Why do you want a ZC head?

Get a Z6 or Y8 head. Perferably the Y8 it has a better combustion chamber design.

where would i go about finding a z6 or y8 head?
are they dual cam?
do they both bolt right on?

D16Z6 92-95 SOHC VTEC
D16Y8 96-00 SOHC VTEC

Check classifieds and other places that sell used engine parts.


EDIT: Yes, they bolt right on. You will have to add some wires to your harness but that is easy if you take your time.
