Need tranny advice
I'm swapping a stock 96' LS into a 1900lb crx and I can't decide which move to make now reguarding the trans. This is a low budget project for summer fun, I have a hydraulic LS trans that came with my motor but since I don't want to hassle with converting to hydraulic I managed to get ahold of a YS1 trans real cheap and I'm pretty sure it's off a b16. My main concern is the short gearing of the YS1, I will be doing a lot of highway and backroad driving and I believe with it I will be shifting more than usual and I will have a very low top speed not to mention high rpm's while cruising on the highway. Let me know what you think I should do and how the b16 trans would be with the b18 should you know, Thanks

It's the JDM YS1 which is why I'm asking for help, I don't know how well the b18b is going to perform with the JDM YS1 trans. I'm open to any and all ideas/suggestions, like should I just sell the YS1 b16 trans and use the money to get an LS cable trans etc. Thanks
I'm pretty sure there are ppl out there to run the B16 tranny wif the LS motor. I see nothing wrong wif it. But since its gears are closer, it won't favor you in fuel economy.
