Default Need some TPS help...please

2003 Acura CL 3.2 Type S 6 Speed

Alright here is my problem. I am getting a P0123 check engine light (high input circuit). Now the thing is I set it .45x volts and it ran fine untill I took it out and ran it. At about 5500rpm the motor shuddered and check engine light came on. I did notice that the idle was a bit higher at about 1100rpm. Parked the car at the store, came out and drove it normal for a bit and the check engine light went off.... Did a third gear pull and the light came on again. I'm almost 100% sure that its for the same code. Should I try to set it a bit lower to about .40V? Thanks in advance!

Eddie

The sensor needs to be replaced. Its a common problem. Check with the dealer, it may still be covered as its emmisions related. The newer models have extended warranties on certain items.

If I get a p0123 code (high circuit input) would that mean i need to adjust the tps at a higher voltage on idle or lower the voltage?

THROTTLE STOP screw adjustment changes the closed point of the plate making the voltage diffrent.
