Default need some technical help

A few questions for 2000 civic dx stock engine with CAI, fuelrail, pressure regulator and exhaust mods:

I have noticed every time I tried to do something to increase the horsepower (such as adding CAI), I really felt a gain and my car was running very smooth, but after maybe 3 days my car is back to normal. Normal as if I didn't add anything to begin with. What am I missing here?

Second question is I need help on adjusting the fuel pressure for those mods I mentioned above. What do you think would be the ideal pressure? How will the performance be suffered if it's too low or too high?

Your just getting use to the added power. I would keep the pressure at stock, not enough mods to change IMO.

Yes i agree, and if NJ is anything like pa has been the past few weeks the outside air temp is all over the place, one day 70 the next 38. i have noticed that my own car will not run as strong in colder temps. this means noticeable changes nearly everyday.

Yeah, it works that way with everything you do to your car: suspension, engine...everything. You could be running 12s, and after a couple weeks your car would feel slow. If it comes down to that, you need to drive your friend's Taurus for a couple days and then get back in your car. It will feel fast again.

Hm...I understand what you guys mean by getting used to the gain and not feeling a difference but I don't think that's it. Somehow I feel a flow restriction of some sort and I did not feel it on the first 2 or 3 days. In fact, I'm starting to notice my gas mileage is getting worse. Does anyone know what is the stock fuel pressure for 2k civic dx?
