hey guys, im going to be installing my ported cyl head back on my b16a1, skunk2 stage 2 cams, portflow valvetrain, has anyone had any success running a 2 layer head gasket, without any piston, valve contact. this is a stock bottom end, stock size valves. any help would be greatley appreciated.

i think you should be fine ...as long as your head is not cut to nothing ...

but then again ..the true way to find out for sure...with out doubt is to clay the motor

 

has anyone done this on their own vehicles?
