Please read this post first...thanks!

Anyone have any direction on what I should try next? I should add that cams were/are set at 0 degrees and skunk recommends EX +1 or +2 and IN at 0. Should this matter?

I had the same problem when I installed SK2S2 cams on a customer's b16. My engine builder told me we didn't have enough compression, that it was too much cam for the setup. We switched to SK2S1 cams and it cleared up and worked perfectly.

What are the specs exactly of your motor. Post them up and I can relay them to my builder and see what he says.

Don't set your cam gears by what other people say. I've seen motors with the exact same parts on both...identical setups where one motor likes the cam gears in a different setting then the other.

The only way you'll know is on the dyno.

2000 Civic Si B16A2 engine
New Stock NGK plugs
New NGK plug wires
New Distributor Cap and Rotor
Stock ignition timing
Stock cam settings
Comptech I/H/E
Skunk2 IM/SK2S1 Cams/SK2 STD Hi Comp. Valves/SK2 Valve Springs/SK2 Ti Retainers
B&M Fuel Pressure Regulator set to 50 psi
Hondata S200 w/P72 ecm dyno tuned 6K Vtec x-over

Wierd thing is that with the stock ecm (ecu) the cams would run great on the low cam, but apon vtec activation it would just cut out as if I was bouncing off the rev limiter. Skunk claims that you can run these cams off the stock ecm while bumping up fuel pressure. I called Skunk and one of the persons told me it sounds as if I were getting to MUCH fuel??? So who the hell knows?

Thanks for all the help though...much more is greatly needed!
