greetings evry one im from the carribean and this is my first post here i wud jus like to say nuff repec to all d tuners and builders out there and honda all the wayy..
im running a b18c jdm stock..recently bought pro series intake manifold, type r header and a pair of skunk2 pro2 cams, springs and retainers.. my questions are.
can i run the cams wid stock cam gears,
b4 i get the piggy bak would the car idle decent enough if i just use bigger injectors..any help would b appriciated thanks....

 

Not only can you NOT use Pro 2 cams with stock cam gears, but you cannot run Pro 2 cams on a stock bottom end. You need more compression to support those cams.
These cams need to be degree'd in properly using a degree wheel, and in order to degree a cam in properly, you need adjustable cam gears to make the proper adjustments and get the correct centerlines.
You will also need to have the motor tuned with these cams. I have listed a link below regarding cam degreeing and such to hopefully help you out.
