Default Need some help with a problem, please.

My car is a 96 Civic Ex. On my way to work today my car acted as if it were going to stall when I pressed in the gas pedal. If I barley press on the gas the car is fine but if I try to give it a little it border line stalls. I put in a new fuel filter in on my lunch break to see if that was the problem but that wasn't it. The only other thing I can think of would be the fuel pump but I'm not sure. Any thoughts??
