Need some help on MSD BLASTER SS ignition coil
Hey guys... I just bought ignition coil MSD BLASTER SS for my 95 Prelude H23A1. I tryed to istalled it but having issues.. So Im goin to use the original harness power... I went check the wiring and the BLACK YELLOW is positive BLUE is ground But the YELLOW is has no power.. But when I use the battery and connect my multimeter using the positive post I get power.. I thought it was the ignition but when I crank it I get no power. I knw it goes to the distributor cap. Can anyone help or tell what that wire is for?? Thanks in advance.
oh good lord.
A lot of people hate MSD products. I am one of the few that actually really likes them. But even I will tell you to not use that coil. just get a new OEM coil.
you're not gaining anything by using that MSD SS coil. In fact it's a downgrade, because you're not even using an MSD box.

If you are replacing the factory external coil with a MSD SS coil, do the following:
Connect the large black/yellow and the large yellow wire together. You will also get your "+" power for the MSD coil from the black/yellow wire, so tap it in where convenient. Finally, connect the green wire from the distributor to the "-" terminal of the MSD coil.
Also, for proper tach operation, you may need to connect the blue wire from the original external 4-pin coil plug to the blue wire at the distributor's 2-pin plug.
