Default need some help guys crank sensor???

ok i gotta b16 head b18a1 block,on my oil pump theres no place for a crank sensor to mount,this is a 00si obd2 with a obd1 jumper harness, anyways i am wonderin if i even need to have it on ??? will it effect anything ,ive asked like 6 people bout it and half say yes and half say no,please help me out thanx guys im tryn to drop this beast in and rather have this fix b4 install

if you are using an obd1 ecu then i dont believe you should need the crank sensor on the oil pump since obd1 cars didnt come with one on the pump (they are inside the dizzy)

obd1 motors do not have the CFK sesnor, which is the one by the crank pulley. obd1 motors only have TDC sensor which is inside the distributor. So like the dude above said, if you are running an obd1 ecu then there is no need for it.
