Need some help
When I rev my motor up to 2000 RPMs (or higher) and just hold it there, after a few seconds the RPMs just drop off. I can't figure out what it is and I've had the car in the shop for 3 weeks now and they don't have a clue either... I really need help on this one.
I thought it might be the timing belt, but it's on right and I've checked and double checked it.
Thought it might be the knock sensor, but it doesn't seem to be...
Does anyone have any ideas? The shop said it's probably going into failsafe mode...

haha thats all i had... well my gurl hit an accord with her moms new chevy and now the accord does the same thing... the accord was hit head on after she lost back wheel traction and did a nice 180 after over correcting into the head on accord on the freeway at about 65 before both of our cars slid and hit the gaurd rail... the chevy is fine, front bumper scratches only... but the accord was totaled... all people are ok... so you didnt happen to have an accord and have it hit head on by a newq chevy did you? cause i could find out what the damage was on their car for you
i don't know. I have the B&M pressure gauge and FPR. i have the FP at 38 right now. I know I was running rich cause my plugs were sooty so I leaned it out a bit (to 38), but it didn't seem to do anything.
