Default Need some experience help

As title states, I need some guidance from some people with good knowledge. I have a 96 civic dx. Ran perfect. Swapped in a b20 vtec. Jumper harness to obd1 using a p28 ecu.
Car runs like doodoo, sputters at idle and delays when given gas.

There are no cels, I did the ckf trick and the iacv trick. Head fresh from machine shop. Block ran great before. Fuel pressure is perfect, compression is 150psi across. Mechanical timing is perfect, valve clearance in spec. The odd thing I found was that there was only 15hg vacuum to the map sensor. And when I give the map sensor 20hg vacuum from my vacuum pump the car idles and revs perfect. The map sensor gets 5volts and has good ground. And have swapped with a known good map sensor. I have almost empty tank of gas and there is 87octane in it. Any1 have any good suggestions or insight on this? Did I miss a trick for swapping in this model year?

Is this a stock map sensor?
Is the map sensor on your throttle body?

Have you checked the output voltage from the map AT the ecu?
Look for damaged pins on the jumper harness.
Looks like the problem is pin pointed at the map check all connections there and fix your vacume readings.

Does your p28 have the mappings for b20vtec? If you have low mappings it causes that becuz when my boy put a b20 in his car he used a stock p28 and sounded like poop and then i told him to use a LS ecu and sounded perfect.

Well don't know why but the y7 injectors for some reason are different than obd2 bseries injectors. Swapped them out for bseries and no longer a problem. Weird
