Default MAP sensor questions.....

I just did a b18b1 swap into a 92-95 civic. my stock engine, which was a d15, had a map sensor mounted on the firewall, my b18 had it on the intake manifold. Do I need to do something with that stock map sensor? I left it the way it was, and a have a really bad vaccum problem. Could the stock map sensor be related? Any help is appreciated.

use the b18 map sensor. any map sensor will work but you might as well use the one that came with the motor.

what do I do with the stock map sensor, it looks like wires are still going to it from the strut tower harness. And what about that vaccum canister? how do I run vaccum for that?

is your ECU throwing any codes??

as for the vapor canistor, there are 2 lines I believe, one is a capped off vacuum line and the other is a hose that goes to the throttle body.

as for bouncy idle, it's def a vacuum leak. You would have to post pictures for that in order to tell what the problem is -- or you can modify a diagram of somesort in order to explain
