Need quick answer, cam seals?
I'm replacing the cam seals (behind the cam gears), do they need hondabond, or do they just slide on and thats it?
I imagine hondabond would "stick" them to the end cap, making them not turn with the cam. But do they need to turn with the cam?

Sorry to tell you this but those seals arnt going to just "slide" in. Your going to have to take the cam covers and caps off to install them properly. You use a little bit a grey sealant on the outer edge of the cam seal.

I know. The timing belt was off, gears were off, cam caps and rails were off, took the cams in my hand and just slid them right on. Then I just needed to know if there should be hondabond/grey sealant on the outter side of the cam seals, but I didnt use any. Already put everything back together and she started fine.
